Amazed

Tonight I am have had the chance to slow down for a few minutes after a great weekend. It has been interesting to see how much the Lord has done in just a short amount of time. The last 6 months of my life has been one of the most cherished of my life.

I can honestly say that I would not have imagined many of the things that I have been privileged to know in the last months would ever happen. As I am sitting here my insides are literally shaking. The Father has been so near and constantly speaking. The Heavens are open and the spirit realm is magnified.

And yet as I consider everything that has happened, what I am amazed by is that there is so much more in store.

New Music Tuesday- Ryan Adams-Call Me On Your Way Back Home

This is a beautiful sad song. I've said it before, but to me a great love song pales in comparison to a great love lost song any day.

New Music- Mark Mathis-

I have yet to hear anything from Mark Mathis that I have not loved. From his solo singer/songwriter releases to his band Public Radio he is a great songwriter.

Hope you enjoy.

Music Tuesday: Pearl Jam-Yellow Ledbetter

I have always had a soft spot for Pearl Jam. They are the Aerosmith of my generation. In my opinion they are leagues above the other bands to come out of the nineties grunge scene. They were not just head-banging mindless music. They simply wrote great songs.

Recently I downloaded a new Pear Jam live cd from iTunes. It reminded me of the sounds that I feel in love with when I was a teenager.

They are still out there. Still writing new material, which pushes the boundaries of what hey have done before. Still touring and playing GREAT live shows.

What more can you ask of a rock band.
